Small but great works of art come in the form of Bonsai, and there is no place better than to see what is considered to be one of the best collections in Europe, than at the Bosai Museum in Marbella.
Miguel Angel Garcia the owner and cultivator has a magnificent collection of beautiful minature trees which are appealing to the eye and there is a most wonderful central display of wild olive trees, bonsai trees, water and sculptured rocks which have been brought in from the Torcal of Antequera.
There are some important historical specimens on display such as the Chinese Almez which belonged to the same Chinese family for over five generations, Acebuche olive which itself is over 300 years old, and the Pinsapo Pine from the mountains close by to Marbella which is in danger of extiction.
