Elviria is a residential area extending from the beach through the pine forests, now much sparser due to construction; up to the foothills of the nearby range of hills. Its small modern shopping centre houses a clutch of coffee shops and bars, but there is little else to attract visitors. The nearby small, but picturesque port of Cabo Pino is worth a visit for lunch at “Albert’s”. The beaches are wide and long with shallow waters making them ideal for families. A nudist beach is located to the west of Cabo Pino for those seeking the all over absolutely no white marks tan. A stroll through the sand dunes takes you high enough to enjoy the wide views of the beaches and port below. The beaches of Cabo Pino come alive with surfers after storms and heavy winds, to take advantage of the surf created by the shallow waters and tide.
