It is near to the town centre of San Pedro de Alcántara, and near to the Guadalmina estate.
The area includes some Roman ruins dating from the 3rd Century AD, which are known as Las Bóvedas, and are located in a protected archeological area.
Diasbled access, sunbeds and parasols for hire, pedal boats and sports equipment for hire, showers, first aid service, litter bins, danger signs, and a childrens area. Fishing, diving, surfing and sailing are practised from here.
