Close to Marbella, La Cancelada is o­ne of the most exclusive areas o­n the Costa del Sol. Almost entirely residential, there are beachside apartments, town houses and luxury villas inland. Apart from a small collection of shops just off the motorway, there is very little in the way of facilities in the immediate area. As with all of the urbanisations in the area, La Cancelada is well served by buses to and from Marbella, Estepona and San Pedro.
