Since my arrival I have had the pleasure of sampling the local fare. I have found a few fantastic finds and a few that are TBA (to be avoided). Anyone interested in any dining tips in the pueblo,, please drop me a note

Hi,
I too have had the pleasures of sampling the local delights of dining Torrox pueblo style. My father owns a property there and i am head over heels in love with the place, planning to relocate there permanantly. If you could give me any tips or guidance about my relocation it would be of great help.
Stacey.

Hola.... it is a wonderful place. Tips on relocation depend on where you are from. If you are a member of the EU it is VERY simple for you. I however relocated from the United States and it it more difficult but worth every step.

Dining in Torrox,,, Figon is numero uno,, If you are looking for simple fare excellent prices and amazing food,, Torrox Cafetería. IN the main square Aries and Almonzar and great pub eateries. Paco's however,, in my experience, charges some people less money and more to others and only offers tapas to a small elect few locals... not very friendly place. Great little bar in town near Caféteria Torrx is Bar Coto aka "Yolanda's Place"

Have fun!

Hi

What a great place Torrox is. The pueblo, the costa, the campo and the characters.

Since being here for just 7 years we still have plenty to learn but
also have much to share.

As we have many family members and friends from northern Europe
we gathered what we could and put it ito an little e-book called
appropriately "A Taste of Torrox"..you may even find your picture there, who knows...!

Does anyone recognise the street...? icon_smile.gif

I particularly like the video of a drive through Torrox because when you first arrive it can be "scary" ...
imagine driving through the narrow steets in an old Range Rover...but then of course you get used to it.

If you would like a copy (free of course) you can download it here:

I hope you enjoy it and pass it on to your family and friends.
