The coastline of Nerja covers several beaches and some are best known by their names:
BURRIANA
Probably the best known large beach in Nerja with a BLUE FLAG. Diving, sailing and other sports are practised from this beach.
CARABEO
This is another of the popular coves situated between Burriana and the Balcon de Europa. First aid service, life guard and litter bins.
EL PLAYAZO
This beach lies next to farming areas but with hotels and apartments along its stretch.

EL SALON
This beach is surrounded by cliffs and you can reach it from the steps leading from the Balcon de Europa.

LA CALAHONDA
This beach lies in between impressive rocks which have been eroded by the sea. Access from the steps leading from the Balcon de Europa.

LA TORRECILLA
The La Torrecilla beach is one of the most highly-frequented by tourists in the area of Nerja.
